Wine has taken me to all corners of the globe, from hustling wine in London, New York, Beijing or Seoul, to importing trips in Italy, Germany, France, Spain & Portugal – I’ve borne witness to both mature and emerging wine markets and, moreso, trends.

The wine trade I love is the artisans pouring heart and soul into their craft. Those rare patches of dirt,  with climates so challenging only the maddest agronomist would toil, that produce fruit of dizzying quality. The vintners and bar owners whose passion for introducing these products to the public outweighs their desire for wealth.

Unfortunately our industry can also sometimes involve some smoke, mirrors and mud.
